Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. FTII was founded in 1960 at the previous Prabhat studio building at Pune. The institute has produced some distinguished alumni such as Subhash Ghai, Jaya Bhaduri, and Shatrughan Sinha etc.

Eligibility: Candidate seeking admission to the first year of the degree course in applied Art must have passed Maharashtra State Board of the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, State Board Higher Secondary Education or an Examination of any other University or Board Recognized as equivalent. Candidate should have passed entrance examination conducted by the college with minimum 50% marks.
Admission: Prescribed application form duly filled must be submitted to the college along with the following certificates: Birth certificate, Std. XII (HSC) passing Certificate & mark sheet.
