(Established in 1972 by the Hon. Mr.Sharadchandraji Pawar, M.P.)
The first institution of the Vidya Pratisthan, Bal Vikas Mandir, an English Medium School was started in 1973. The school has since its inception consistently maintained a very high standard of All - Round Education. It has both S.S.C.E. as well as I.C.S.E. Sections.
Vidya Pratisthan forged ahead and in a surprisingly short period of time transformed a barren area of 120 acres in the M.I.D.C. Residential Zone of Baramati into "Vidya nagari", a "Sangri La" for students, with architectural wonders as Centers of Learning and Research, harmoniously blending with the breathtaking landscape.
The Centers of Learning include :
Bal Vikas Mandir.
College of Education.
Marathi Medium School.
English Medium School.
Arts, Science, Commerce & Computer Science.
Law College.
Institute of Information Technology.
College of Engineering.
School of Biotechnology.
Magarpatta City Public School.
Vidya Nagari also houses a centrally air-conditioned library, a ladies hostel, a gents hostel, staff quarters, a museum, conference halls, gymnasia for ladies and gents, a huge stadium and two cafeterias
In Pune, Vidya Pratisthan has set up two hostels : The Boys' Hostel at Gokhale Nagar and the luxurious Ladies' Hostel, Sharada Niketan at Karve Nagar.
Magarpatta City Public School is the latest institution of the Vidya Pratisthan. The School will provide and maintain All - Round Education of a very high quality and standard.
