About the Institute

Sri Venkateswara VidyaPeeth a society was established in the year 1979 by some eminent educationists,industrialists and top business Minister for Education, who established 24 Educational Institutions including Schools, Junior & Degree Colleges, Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Management and Research Institutions. In the year 1987, Sri S.Alwar Das has established Integral Institute of Advanced Management, an Autonomous Management College in Visakhapatnam which is ranked 2nd in AP and 65th in the Country. In the year 2008 IIAM has sponsored Alwar School of Business (ASB) located in a beautiful serene atmosphere (in a 12 acre site) in the heart of Gajuwaka, the industrial hub of Visakhapatnam. The campus is spread over 12 acre of land. The academic block comprises a huge bulding of 20000 sq.ft.to house, state of the art class rooms, library, computer lab, seminar hall, with audio visual aids. The strength of the Institute is in its curriculum, which was developed, over so many years by Management Gurus, to suit the latest needs of the Business and Industry. Here, the students would participate in various activities, that deal with different Administrative matters, short term projects, summer projects, extension lectures and Seminars. The Institute would encourage and arrange, studetns organized programmes and Annual Business School events and cultural aspects which are all a fillip to students’ talent deliberations. Vizag being an Industrial Hub, the regular interface with local industrial and business executives is to keep the students up dated with the latest trends and practices in corporate world.

Faculty

		Sri M. M. Rao : XLRI, MA (LSW), MA (Economics), PG Hons Dip (IR), Fellow (NIPM) is a Former Director of GEC UK and also Former Director of two reputed Business Schools. He has 45 years corporate experience. He is a visiting faculty for MBA classes for Business Schools. His areas of Specialisations are HR, Strategic Management, Organisational Behaviour and Business Environment. He was a Corporate Consultant/ Advisor to a large member of reputed corporates. Was a member of various professional bodies and held important positions in CII, MMA, VMA, EFI, NIPM and on various Govt. Committees in Chennai. He is a trainer on HRM Management topics. Widely travelled around the world on professional assignments. He is a Corporate Management Consultant in Vizag and visiting faculty on management courses.
		Ms. K. Pavani : MBA, is experienced in conducting MBA Programme. She is specialised in the areas of Finance and Management Theory & Organisational Behaviour.
		Mrs. Shabina Begum : MBA, having 3 years of corporate experience Area of specialization : Human Resource Management, MIS
		Ms. B.Usha : MBA, having good academic experience Area of Specialization : Human resource Management
		Mr. M.Mohan Kishore Sanjay : MBA,MHRM, having 3 years of academic experience and 2 year of industrial experience Area of Specialization : Human resource Management, Marketing
		Mr. K.Vinod : PGDBM, having 3 years of corporate experience Area of Specialization: Marketing, Finance, Business law.
		Mr. K.Rakesh : MBA is having 6 years of experience in teaching computer courses and Information Technology. His areas of interest are Finance and Marketing.
		Mr. G. Satish : M.A. Mathematical Economics and MSc. Statistics, is having 8 years of experience in teaching Post Graduates. He is handling Quantitative Techniques, Statistics, Data Analysis and Production and Operations Management.
		Mr D.Shiva Ramakrishna : PGDM, having 2 years of corporate experience. Area of Specialization: Finance, Marketing, Business Law.
		Mr. K. Bhaskara Rao : BE, PGDM, having 2 years of corporate experience. Area of Specialization: Marketing ,Quantitative techniques.

Placements

ASB has commenced its academic year in 2008 and the students will pass out in the year 2010. Efforts will be made to ensure placements for students in the corporate sectors appropriately.

Since our institute is integrated with different industries not only in and around Visakhapatnam, but also in the world corporate sector, we will ensure that the campus interviews will be colourful and meaningful. Further, since we have wide network with industries. We are confident that our efforts in enabling campus interviews will bear fruit to our satisfaction.
