IISM will offer a 36 credit program. Students take 30 credits of coursework over the First and Second semesters of one academic year. To earn the additional 6 credits, students have three options:
1. Complete a six credit internship on an Event or with a sport organization.
2. Complete two additional Sport Management electives
3. Complete a Research Thesis

This now means that IISM students will be accepted directly in to the Griffith University's Masters in Sports Management program and your credit points earned at IISM will be recognised by Griffith University.
