FACULTY

Prof.(Dr) Hemant Kumar Panda
M.A., MBA, Ph.D.

Prof. Panda is a Master of Economics from Berhampur University, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from SP Jain College of Management & Communication, MBA in Finance and Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia Central University.He has more than 19 years of rich and varied experience in teaching, research, consulting and training at Association of Indian Universities, NCERT and Bureau of Planning (NUEPA), New Delhi under the Department of Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. He has done consulting assignments for UNDP, Planning Commission and Govt. of Orissa for Publication of Orissa Human Development Report 2009.
He has published several research papers in referred journals and presented research papers in different conferences and seminars. He has also authored a book “Public Financing and Economics of Education in India”.

Prior to joining the Institute, he was working as Professor-cum-Principal at Academy of Business Administration (ABA), Balasore under BPUT and before that he had also worked as Asst. Professor in Jamia Millia Islamia Central University, Associate Professor & HoD of MBA Department of North Orissa University, Baripada.


Prof. (Dr.) Sabita Patnaik
M.A., Ph.D, D.Litt.

Prof. (Dr.) Sabita Patnaik is a Reader in Psychology and has her Ph.D. and D.Lit. from Utkal University.

She hold a Master Degree in Psychology She has more than thirty three years of teaching and research experience in reputed Government Institutions like BJB College, Bhubaneswar, Govt. Women’s College, Baripada, Ramadevi Women’s College, Bhubaneswar, JKBK Govt. College, Cuttack. She has undertaken a number of Research Projects and published three Research Papers in reputed journals. She has also attended many Seminars, Work Shops and Faculty development Programmes. Her areas of interest are Human Resource Development and Organizational Behaviour.

Prof. Prasanta Kumar Panda
M.Com,MBA,LLB

Prof. P.K Panda is a Master of Commerce from Berahampur University and MBA on Financial Management form Magadha University.
He has more than 26 years of rich industry experiences and one year of teaching experience

His area of interest are Financial & Cost Accounting, Finacial Market and Management Control System.
Prior to join ASBM Institute of BBA,he was working as Asst. Professor in HIT,Bhubaneswar.

NIHAR RANJAN AGASTI
MBA; PGDJMC, DCA,PGDCA
Mr.Nihar Ranjan Agasti is a working as a Faculty in HR and Organisational Behaviour.

He is an MBA from KIIT University and Post Graduate in PGDJMC from F.M. University.He has also done DCA and PGDCA and presently persuing his Ph.D in Fakir Mohan University, Balasore,Orissa.

SANAT KUMAR LENKA
M.A.
Mr.Sanat Lenka is a Faculty in Communication and Soft Skills.

He has done his M.A. with Linguistics and Phonetics as specialization from Revenshaw University,Cuttack,Orissa.He has five years of teaching experience.He has worked for Reliance Telecom Limited as a Telemarketing Excutive. He has the experience as a trainer in International Call Centres,teaching American and British accents.

SARAT JENA

Mr.Sarat Jena is a Faculty in Communication and Soft Skills.

He is an M.A. in English and Sociology. His other qualifictions are B.Ed.,PGDBA and PGDCA. He is a creative writer in English and has authored three books.He has nine years of rich experience in teaching.


Dileswar Sahoo
M.A.,B. Ed., DCA

Mr. D.Sahoo is an M.A in Economics and Science Graduate in Mathmatics. His other qualifications are B.Ed. and DCA.He has more than two decades of rich experience in teaching.

Soumendra Pattanaik
B.E. (COMP. & ENGG..) ; MBA (IT)

Mr. Soumendra Pattnaik is a Faculty in the area of Information Technology.

He has done his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from O.E.C, Bhubaneswar,MBA(IT) form Manipal University and B.Sc.(Chemestry) from Revenshaw University.Presently he is persuing his M.Tech. in Computer Science.

He has six years of teching experience in teaching. Prior to his joing ASBM, he was working as faculty(IT) in System Department of CMS,OEC,Bhubaneswar.

AJAY KUMAR SENAPATI
MCA , LL.B.
Mr. Senapati is a Faculty in the area of Information Technology.

He has more than seven years of teaching and industry experience.He has worked in various organisations like Pentasoft Technolgies, Sai Software Development,Royal School of Management and Technology,Bhubaneswar,WILL-IIT,Bhubaneswar All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT), etc.

He has completed in "A","B" and "C" level Certification under the Authority, Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India.

His interest are in area of IT Strategy, Management Information Systems, E-Commerce Technologies and Flexible Manufacturing Systems.

Gayatri Singh
M.Com, MBA

Ms. Gayatri Singh is associated with ASBM Institute of BBA since January 2009 as a faculty in Commerce and Management. She is a Post graduate in Commerce from Sambalpur University and MBA with specialization in Finance and Marketing, from Rourkela Institute of Management studies, Rourkela.
She awarded with a gold medal at the Best Student 2006-2008 batch of MBA, by Rourkela Institute of Management Studies (RIMS), Rourkela

Her areas of interest are Financial management, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Accounting.


GOPIKANT PANIGRAHY
M.COM

Mr. Gopikant Panigrahy is a faculty in the area of Finance and Accounting.

He has done his M.Com with Finance as specialization from P.G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University. At present, he is pursuing his Ph.D in Banking and Financial Services area in Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

Mr. Panigrahy has presented papers in various seminars and conferences in the areas of Finance and Accounting, held at Utkal University. He has also published Seminar Reports in a refereed journal published by Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. His areas of interest are Financial Management, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Banking and Financial Services, Auditing, Business Law and Corporate Legal Framework.

MS.GITILAXMI DAS
MA (STATISTICS), M.PHIL

Ms.Gitilaxmi Das is a faculty in Mathematics, Statistics and Operation Research area.

She has done her MA in Statistics with Sampling Survey as a specialization from P.G. Department of Statistics under Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Ms.Gitilaxmi has more than three years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Statistics at various State Level and National Level Institutes. She is now pursuing her Ph.D in the area of Statistics from P.G. Department of Statistics, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

SAROJ KUMAR BISHEY
M.A, NET (UGC)

Mr. Saroj Bishey is a Faculty in Sociology.

He is an M.A. in Sociology from Sambalpur University,Orissa and has one year rich experience in a UGC sponsored Project on " Dowry Related Crime against Women in ORISSA"

Prior to joining in this institute, he was working as a Counsellor in Sociology in IGNOU. He was associated with various schools,colleges and NGOs in his home town, Rourkela.


Biswajita Das
B.E,MBA

Mrs.Biswajita Das has been working as a Faculty in Management.

She is a B.E (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from NIST, Berhampur and an MBA with Marketing & Finance specialization from RCM, Bhubaneswar.

She has two and a half years of teaching experience.

Biswaranjan Parida
M.A.(Eco.),LLB,MBA

Mr. Biswaranjan Parida is a Faculty in the area of Economics.

Mr. Parida is a Master in Economics and LLB from Utkal University and MBAfrom Sikkim Manipal University.Mr.Parida has more than eight years experience in teaching and three years of industry experience.He is continuing his Ph.D in economics under utkal university. His area of intrest is forigin direct inviestment.

Mr.Parida has teaching interest in the areas of Managerial Economics, Business Environment, Business Law and General Management. During his eight years of teaching experience he has attended FDP, MDP and various management conferences.

Bhagabat Prusti
M.Sc.,(Statistics)

Mr. Bhagabat Prusti is a Faculty in area of QT & OR. He is a Master in Stastics from Utkal University.

Prior to joining ASBM, Mr.Prusti was working with Institute of Management and Global Excellence, Bhubaneswar as faculty in Statistics.

Bairagi Charan Pattanaik
M.A.,Ph.D.

Dr. B.C Pattanaik is a Reader in Oriya. He is an M.A in Oriya Literature and L.L.B. both from Utkal University,followed by his Ph.D for his research on the celebrated Oriya Poet Dr. Prasanna Patasani, awarded by Utkal University in the year 2001.

Dr.ITISHREE DASH
M.A. (Oriya), LLB, PhD

Dr.Itishree Dash is a faculty in Oriya.
Dr.Dash has completed her PhD on the topic “ Loka Sahitya Tatwa aloka re Baishnaba Pani nka Nataka: Eka Adhayana” in the year December 2002 from PG Department of Oriya, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
Dr.Dash has about five years of teaching experience at various schools and junior colleges. Her areas of interest are prose, poetry and drama in Oriya literature.

Mr.Pratyusa Kumar Mishra
M.A (English)

Mr. Pratyusa Kumar Mishra has been teaching communicative English as well as English Literature in leading institutions at the +2 level and graduate level for the last four years. Currently he is working as a lecturer in English in the ASBM Institute of BBA and Junior College at Bhubaneswar.

Mr. Mishra has got many of his articles and essays published in various magazines concerning current issues and Socio-economic issues.

Dhananjay Mishra

Mr. Dhananjay Mishra is a faculty in English. He is an M.A. in English (Literature) from Utkal University.

He has rich and varied experience in teaching in various colleges.

Kishore Dhal
M.Com.,LL.B.

Mr. Kishore Dhal is a faculty in Accounting and Finance. He is an M.Com. with specialization in Higer Accountancy from Berhampur University,Orissa. He also has a Degree in Law from Utkal University,Orissa.

He started his teaching career as a teacher in Accountacy and Business Studies.His area of interest are Accounting,Finance and General Management. He has rich experience in teaching in diffrent colleges. He is also editor for "Ruchika at Banki","Kranti Dhara" &"Padmapada" the two quarterly Oriya magazine.

Tapas Sethy
M.Com.,M.Phil, NET(UGC).

Mr Tapas Kumar Sethy is a faculty in Commerce and Accounting. He has done his Post Graduation in M.Com. from Utkal University and M.Phil in Commerce from Pondicherry University. He also qualified the UGC-NET in Commerce in the year 2006.

He has a very rich research experience in area of Banking and Finance. He has presented a research paper in National Seminar. His area of interest are Financial Accounting and Company Accounts.
